The Never-Ending Berlin Queue
Comic for the ComicInvasionBerlin 2022 contest “Urban Fairy Tales”. The German word for queue, “Schlange”, also means “snake”. And “snakes” are all you find in Berlin almost everywhere: getting into a club (or attempting to), going to the pharmacy, or buying groceries. Beware of the Never-Ending Berlin Snake! The comic was shortlisted for the award and exhibited during the CIB Festival in May 2022.
At Home in Space
Entry for the comic contest by the Austrian Academy of Sciences in
2020. “At Home in Space” tells the story of Riina, a girl who lives in
a space station orbiting Earth, and her mentor Hypatia, who is an Artificial Intelligence. Learning can be tough sometimes, and that is why Hypatia challenges Riina to learn about the planets through play and speculation, sparking curiosity in her. Curiosity and an inquiring mind are much needed to do science and try to get answers on how the Universe we live in works.
